NEW HEIGHTS IN WASTE MANAGEMENT

Amager Bakke, Ressource Centre
Copenhagen, Denmark

5000 tons of steel make up some of the fundament for the world’s most modern ad environmentally friendly energy production based on waste management. The Amager Bakke is created by BIG as a monumental piece of industrial architecture and combines the industrial purpose with recreative areas put in the service of the public.

Amager Bakke is an 85 meter high hill and the roof will work as among others an alpine ski center.

A major part of the construction is carried out as steel constructions made by the latest principles.

Levi Jensen has acted as a construction manager on behalf of the builder ARC.
