NÆSTVED STORCENTER

Næstved Storcenter, shopping mall
Næstved, Denmark

In the outskirts of the town Næstved situated on Zealand some 60 kilometers south of Copenhagen, Næstved Storcenter was built as one of the first shopping malls outside the greater Copenhagen area in the late-eighties.

The Næstved Shopping Mall has more than 65 shops and a very large supermarket.

Four squares functioning as intersections between the connecting isles are constructed with visible space frame structures to provide height and light giving a spacious sensation. Two squares are rectangularly shaped and the other two are shaped as circles.

Levi Jensen was responsible for the steel construction as well as the space frame structures.
